Non-essential cookies (analytics / marketing) are not set until you actively accept them in the cookie banner. Checkboxes for marketing consent are never pre-ticked.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) may be used for the same purposes. This Policy explains how ProPeak uses them.

2. Categories of cookies

We distinguish:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (security, session / login, load balancing, remembering cookie consent). These do not require consent.
  • Analytical cookies — help us understand traffic and improve the Service (e.g. aggregated usage statistics). Require your prior opt-in.
  • Marketing cookies — used for measuring campaigns or remarketing (e.g. advertising pixels if enabled). Require your prior opt-in.

3. Purpose of cookies we may use

Strictly necessary: authentication cookies, CSRF / security tokens, language preference, consent storage.

Analytical (only after Accept): tools such as privacy-friendly or Google Analytics-style measurement, if configured — to learn which pages are used and improve UX.

Marketing (only after Accept): campaign measurement pixels (e.g. Meta / Google Ads) if we enable them — to measure ad effectiveness. We will not drop marketing cookies before you click Accept / Agree.

4. Prior consent rule

Except for strictly necessary cookies, we obtain your prior consent via the cookie banner before placing analytical or marketing cookies on your device. You can refuse or later change your choice.

5. How to manage / opt out

You can change preferences using our cookie banner (re-open via “Cookie settings” in the footer area when available) or clear / block cookies in your browser settings.

Browser guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge provide cookie controls under Privacy / Settings. Blocking all cookies may break login and other essential features.

6. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last for a defined period (from days up to 24 months depending on purpose) or until you delete them.
